great room , but limited evening amenities
We were impressed by how clean our room was , especially with two queen beds and a mini fridge. The dehumidifier kept the air fresh, and we enjoyed relaxing on the porch with a lovely garden view. The staff offered exceptional service, making our stay truly enjoyable.
Evening activities were somewhat lacking, making it feel quiet after dark.

missingWrote a review on Oct 27private balconymountain viewswell-kept groundsoutdated furnituremildew odor
Private balconies provide stunning views of the mountains, making mornings feel special. The grounds are well-kept, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy after a long day of exploring.
The furniture is outdated and showing its age, with peeling paneling that detracts from the room's comfort. The bed felt old and uncomfortable, and the overall cleanliness leaves something to be desired, as mildew odors were noticeable. Breakfast starts late, making it difficult for early risers to enjoy a meal. Additionally, the expected 'suite' designation was misleading, as it was simply a room with a couch and no substantial separation.

We stayed for 4 nights in a Deluxe Queen Room, and wow, the location was perfect! It was super quiet, away from the craziness of the main tourist areas, yet close enough to grab a bite or hit the trails. Plus, the hot chocolate in the lobby during evenings was a nice touch after a day of exploring. The views from our room were stunning, making mornings good.

The Highland Manor Inn was charming, with beautiful views of the mountains from my private balcony. The grounds were well-kept, making it easy for seniors to stroll around comfortably. The staff were attentive and accommodating throughout my stay.
More accessible seating in common areas would help.

We loved staying off the beaten path in Townsend, close to the Great Smoky Mountains. Our two dogs enjoyed the lush grounds, and we took family hikes on the Abrams Falls Trail. The friendly staff made our time memorable, and the scenic mountain views were stunning.
For dads, it would be great to have a playground for the kids.
